BlackBox Classics is a vintage care rental company based in Wees near Flensburg, VentureWærft supported them in the early stages of their success story.

As their business is about renting out vintage cars, that are not really known for their low emissions, BlackBox Classics came up with an idea to reduce their impact on the environment.
They partnered with Villekula e.V., a Flensburg-based social start-up, focused on educating children in nutrition, nature and a sustainable field-to-fork cycle.
When customers book their vintage car experience, they have the chance to donate money to the CO2-compensation project at check-out. with that money, BlackBox Classics and Villekula plant apple trees in Flensburg's Hochzeitswald ("wedding forrest"), where usually newlyweds plant trees as a sign of their deep-rooted love for one another.

The children involved in the Villekula charity take care of the trees and harvest the fruit to make apple juice, making it a win-win situation for everyone involved!

20 rentals equal one planted tree and BlackBox Classics guaranteed to plant at least 3 trees a year, no matter how high the donations are.
What a creative way to keep Flensburg's air clean!
